BCCS Grades 3-5 Student Council
BCCS Student Council
The members of Student Council work together to help our school by representing their class ideas/suggestions, having discussions, taking part in decision-making, and presenting to students, teachers and administrators.
The Student Council is committed to service and works in the community in order to help and assist others. Students in the council learn about how they can help in the school community, advocate for others and take action.
Some of their duties include organizing fundraisers, supporting events, making posters, doing research, voting to decide how to use money, etc.
Student Council is made up of two representatives (President and Vice President) from each class in grades 3-5. Other Officers on the Council will include MBSK Ambassadors.
This Council makes up The BCCS Student Government. The Student Government will have 4 core members: school president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
The students join the student council by running for and winning their own classroom’s president or vice president positions. After all of the in class elections take place, the Council will get together and vote for their president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
Other members will serve as BCCS Officers in the Student Government.
